Afternoon at Eckerts

On September 12th we picked up my mom and sister and headed to Eckerts for some fun with some of the Ethiopian families around STL. It was a gorgeous day and Eckerts was packed. We hung out and ate some yummy turkey legs, saw lots of animals, said hi to the other kiddos. We never did make to the pumpkin patch. It was just too crazy.

Norah loves corn!!

Llama llama mad at momma... or alpaca ... whatever...

Norah watched Granny Janny feed the goats. We love goats.

Daddy and Norah being silly.

Peek-a-boo...

Sharing a chocolate and cherry concrete with daddy...

Asleep on her flower. All worn out after a long day!

Halloween Photo Session

I ran into an old friend from high school at our subdivision picnic in early September. She is starting up a photography business and volunteered to do a free session with Norah to use in her portfolio. I love the collage below. This was Norah in her original Halloween costume.
Beating the window with my glass beaded corn.

The poster below is in celebration of our 1 year anniversary of Norah's referral. I cannot believe that she has been a part of our lives for over a year and yet it feels like she has always been here. I could not imagine life without her. She is my heart.
