We drove by a fire truck that was putting out a building fire. Imagine the traffic jam that could occur in this situation.
Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum. The security around this place was intense. No cars allowed nearby, etc. Apparently, even babies can't go inside. (We talked to another travelling family and they were turned away because they had a baby with them.)
These banners were all over, celebrating February 3, 1930, which is the date that Ho Chi Minh founded the Communist Party of Vietnam.
