We Made It!

Well, after many hours (22....24 hours?) many takeoffs and landings (from St. Louis to Los Angeles to an unscheduled little whoops-we-don't-have-enough-fuel pitstop in Inch-on Korea to Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City) I'm writing this from our suite-with-a-view (of the elevator shaft, yeah) in the Rex Hotel.

Dani or I will write more later, as of now (1:30pm Tuesday afternoon) we're completely exhausted, sore and basically plum-tuckered out.  But, the good news is in an hour or so we're meeting Hue and her entourage (I'm sorry, I can't remember their names) down in the lobby where we will be taken for a visit with the one-and-only Norah!

Unfortunately, we can't bring her back with us until tomorrow morning, but at least we get to go meet her FINALLY.

Stay tuned....

It has to make you feel good that the people in charge of flying a multi-million dollar jet, virtually every day.... can't figure out how much fuel they'll need to get you there!

Of course, there could have been an evil jet stream pushing against you all, but... wowsa. Pit stops always suck.

Glad to see you all made it, and have an internet connection!

OMG!!!!!! Dad and I were so excited to know you landed safely. Flying is always an experience. However, it sure beats driving and a slow boat to HO CHI MINH. The greatest thing is meeting and holding and hugging little Norah. Don't forget to tell her Granny Janny and Pa Pa Ne Ne love her and send lots of kisses. Can't wait to see you all as a happy family!!!!

I am glad you guys made it there safely. I hope you have a great trip and eventually recover from jet lag. Enjoy Norah and the warm weather!!

Oh yay, you made it safely!! I think you may have been on the same flight as another family with a different agency (Journey to find our Vietnamese Princess)- they also had a stop to refuel where you did.

Give Norah a big kiss from us! Best of luck!

I am so glad to read that you both made it to VN safe; I have been checking for the last two days for an update. Have fun visiting Norah; too bad they won't let her go with you today; but enjoy her while you are with her. Tonight get a good nights sleep because it will be the last one you have with out Norah.

Glad your flights went smoothly, more or less and you are in Ho Chi Minh City. By now you should have met Norah. Can't wait for an update.

It's quite the flight, isn't it? Hope that Danielle is feeling better! I know she will feel all better once she holds little Norah in her arms!!
